Massive well done to all the kids today in what was very testing conditions. The kids did exceptionally well in the hot conditions and only having 1 sub available to rotate with.the size of the pitch and the amount of ground needing covered was a real eye opener to Paul and I and at times we were guilty of being too compact and ignoring the acres of space available. Needles to say we started strong in our first game against Edinburgh South with Ross and Shay noticing strikes in that game. The second game we played North Merchiston was completely different, North Merchistons quality and the tired legs were starting to show but we still made a good game out of it. Onto our final game that Paul and I were concerned about, we thought it might me a game too much for the kids but how they proved us wrong! They definitely saved the best performance for the last game as we put a terrific display against a well organised Dalkeith, with Esa, Jay, Shayne noticing goals and Liam getting a brace of goals. Very proud of the kids today as they definitely surpassed our expectations
